Brett is a filmmaker of Texan origin, a graduate of Boston’s Emerson College, currently working variously as a camera operator, AC, and grip in Los Angeles, CA. He has a passion both for the art of image-making and for storytelling, and he has written and directed a number of short films and music videos.

Brett has a particular passion for analog filmmaking. His college thesis, PAL, was shot entirely on 16mm, and was nominated for Emerson’s EVVY for Outstanding Cinematic Achievement. He has also received accolades for his street photography work and his writing, both in traditional prose and for screenplays.

Brett is currently working to transition from short- to long-form storytelling, building a portfolio of feature-length screenplays and actively seeking interest and representation to continue telling bigger and better stories.
